I've been getting lots of email
from people about certain problems their having.. Here's how to
fix the most common:
ERROR: Out of Handles:People are receiving this when
they run winquake or glquake. To remedy the problem unpak
all the paks. Then either delete the paks, or just move
them outta the directory (they can't be there once
unpak'd)
HELP! GLQuake Looks all
screwey!Here are
the steps to try to fix this (this will fix weird models,
funny colors, etc)
-Delete these
directories:
quake\id1\glquake
quake\qw\glquake
quake\ypod\glquake (if there is
one)
Run Grafswap.exe
Run GLQuake -game ypod -heapsize
16000 (or higher if you can handle it)
Error: SV_ModelIndex
"progs\player.mdl" not found:This has been happening for no
known reason between the maps zoom6 and map03. All I can
suggest is to save before you exit zoom6, then when it
crashes, restart with the save. It will then exit fine
The Weapon Model
dissappeared!This
can happen when you load games sometimes. Either start
YPOD, go into the start map, then load your game OR type
"r_drawviewmodel 1" in the console (no
""'s of course)
The Imp seems to be
hitting me when i'm a long ways away!Yea it happens. I forgot a
stinking line of code. I'll get it fixed

right. I don't think it was that way in DooM:Yes it was ;) hehe (and if not,
assume I'm fixing it.. I've heard about every bug known
to man by now).]
The intro demo's ppl's
animation is screwey:yea, those were recorded at an earlier time, and
we didn't realize that they were like that until it was
too late! I should be posting a complete demo update
(fixing the intro and ending demo's) to be something
better :)
