Description of the Modification:

This patch puts a new monster into Quake. It's the houndeye converted from Half-Life by me.
It replaces either the grunt and rottweiler, with a 50% chance. It also has monster_houndeye function, whihc allows you to place houndeyes when making your map.

The houndeye is easy to kill, has the same health as the grunt, does little damage, but it's fast as hell.
It needs to get a little close to you in order to do damage. It also takes about 2 seconds to charge the blast.
Its blasts behaves like an explosion -- it doesn't need to face you while attacking, because every living creature around it will take damage - even other monsters! So it's not uncommon to see nearby monsters getting mad at the houndeye.
In large groups houndeyes may be dangerous. So watch out.


How to install:
Extract the files to your Quake directory (e.g: c:\quake).
Run Quake with -game houndeye in the command line.
